After a 2.5 year caving event drought, The Northeastern Cave Conservancy is excited to announce the hosting of Spring NRO, May 20 – May 22. We expect a larger than normal crowd, so please register beforehand to help make things go smoothly on site and assist in meal forecasting.

Friday May 20

  • 4:00 PM – Onsite registration opens
  • 7:00 PM – Cave Photo Salon
  • 8:00 PM – Michael “Danger” Girard and his ROUVs (Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicles)
  • 9:00 PM – NE digging updates
  • 10:00 PM – Intro to Caving 101
  • 11:00 PM – Caving movies

Saturday May 21

  • 7:00 – 8:30 AM – Breakfast, featuring scrambled eggs, ham, english muffins w/jam, fruit. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, orange juice
  • 9:00 AM – Cave trips!
  • 5:30 PM – Dinner hosted by the NCC. BBQ pulled-pork sandwiches, baked beans with onions, coleslaw, cornbread, brownies, and lemonade. Grilled veggie burger option available.
  • 7:00 PM – NCC Auction with Special Guest Auctioneer
  • 8:00 PM – Rock out with the Bizarros
  • 10:00 PM – Caving movies

Sunday May 22

  • 7:00 AM – Saint Alphonzo’s Pancake Breakfast, featuring pancakes with blueberries or not, maple syrup, sausage, hash brown potatoes, fruit. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, orange juice.
  • 9:00 AM – NRO business meeting / Cave trips leave
  • 12:00 AM – NRO closes
