Executive Committee Board Meeting Minutes

Meeting called to order at 12:30am

General Discussions:

· Acquisitions:

Follow up on South Bethlehem

Folsom to follow up with Peter Haberland on Stroniumun Mine

Jobher Hole and Spider - check on these

· Network for Good - verbiage for website and brochure for convention

· GIS- will check with Mark Folsom if he is still interested in pursuing

· Motion to nominate Joe Levinson as representative for Foundation meeting.

· Treasurer - Joe Levinson to contact Emily Davis to bring check book to convention, will investigate investing some monies in the Foundations mutual funds - NCC checking account currently has $8,000 - $10,000, preparing income tax for 2001.

· Brochure/Display - Christa Hay is updating the NCC brochure.

· Sellecks - Aaron Jarvis will be bringing up garbage bags and work gloves - donated by his employer Allegheny Power - for the cleanup.

Bob Addis lead 2 trips during the Spring NRO

Mike Chu will lead a dig at Levys - time to be announced

· Conservation Committee - Folsom to check with Ran Curl. Want to cover more than just NCC property -localized cleanup efforts.

· NCC Social - discussion to have a social get-together for members not just a meeting. Bill and Robin volunteer their place in August.

· NRO - will host dinner - need volunteers and grills - will also run the auction- need to get the word out

· Nominating Chair - Robert Simmons elected on an electronic vote.

· Thanks to Bill and Robin for hosting the meeting and to Robin for making good pizza.

Meeting adjourned around 3:00pm
